The IT Support Technician is responsible for being the first point of contact and support for the entire IT organization, the Technician must be able to explain technical issues to non-technical users. Primary duties of the technician include assessing incidents and requests and resolving issues when possible as well as assisting with more complex technical issues. The Analyst also participates in other desktop system work such as configuring and deploying new systems, maintaining existing hardware and software and assisting in employee moves. The position is responsible to recommend and develop procedures and standards that improve the quality and delivery of service to customers.
This position reports to the IT Service Manager, EMEA and is part of the IT Operations located in Germany and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :
- Manage and resolve customer issues by handling incoming tickets and conducting technical research.
- Perform local and remote troubleshooting sessions to identify and implement solutions.
- Create, monitor, and follow up on Support Requests via ServiceNow.
The essential requirements of the job include :
Demonstrated experience in providing end-user support, including resolving escalated technical issues and improving support processes.
