Serve as the primary point of contact for employees experiencing IT issues, offering prompt and effective solutions. Continuously monitor desktop infrastructure performance, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency. Evaluate, create, and develop innovative IT solutions tailored to the industrial sector. Develop and implement industry-specific standards while contributing to IT concepts for industrial environments. Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and device issues reported by users. Manage the installation, configuration, and usability of desktop hardware and software. Offer support for standard client technologies, including basic troubleshooting of exchange and management of directory accounts). Troubleshoot and resolve PC connectivity issues, including network components like ISP circuits, wireless equipment, switches, firewalls, and telephone systems. Implement and support remote access solutions, such as VPN, ensuring secure connectivity for remote users. Escalate service issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution. Maintain clear communication with customers and end users, providing updates on incident progress, impending changes, or planned outages. Monitor performance of the network on availability, utilization, and latency, addressing any throughput issues by coordinating with the support team when required. Supervise the maintenance and tracking of IT assets to ensure optimal functionality and availability. Provide staff with training and guidance on computer operations and software applications to maximize productivity and efficiency. Requirements : Solid understanding of Information Technology, including products, solutions and current trends. Experience in a similar role, supporting a wide range of technologies and services. Experience in areas such as : Windows OS, Microsoft Office, PC / Laptop hardware, and mobile devices. Base knowledge on Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange. Fluent in both German and English. Key Skills and Attributes : Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized. Strong customer focus with a passion for customer satisfaction. Service-oriented mindset to complete tasks and projects efficiently. Ability to work independently while following directions and established best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Adaptable personality with a quick learning ability. Strong team player with multitasking, planning, and organizational skills.
