We - MT Aerospace - are part of the OHB Space and Technology Group. As a leading international aerospace company, we develop, manufacture and test essential components for launcher programs such as Ariane, the Space Launch System (SLS) as well as commercial launcher systems, the Airbus fleet, spacecrafts, satellites and defense applications. Thanks to globally unique manufacturing technologies, we create high-performance products made of metal and fiber composites, such as large load-bearing structures and cryotanks, lightweight structures and fuel as well as pressure tanks that combine maximum performance with minimum weight. Especially our business areas of additive manufacturing, CFRP and hydrogen mobility make us a sought-after partner outside the aerospace sector as well. We currently employ around 600 people at our headquarter in Augsburg and at the launch site in Kourou (French Guiana).

Your Tasks

  • You will support day-to-day production operations in the field of additive manufacturing and contribute to efficient

process design

  • You will perform precise 3D scans and measurements of components and ensure their technical documentation
  • You will actively participate in powder analyses and quality checks and ensure compliance with standards
  • You will take on laboratory tasks as well as the creation and evaluation of technical documentation
  • You will work hands-on with 3D printing equipment and carry out machine-supporting tasks independently
  • You will cooperate closely with the quality assurance, laboratory and production departments and promote interdisciplinary exchange

    • Your Qualifications

  • Degree in a technical field, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials science,

    • production engineering or similar

  • Keen interest in additive manufacturing, modern production technologies and materials science
  • Initial practical experience in laboratory or workshop environments desirable
  • Confident use of MS Office, initial knowledge of 3D scanning or CAD software an advantage
  • Independent, structured and meticulous approach to work
  • Ability to work in a team, initiative and hands-on mentality
