Your Tasks - What can you expect as Expert (f / m / d) Coatings & Packaging?

Be part of our new business unit and work with your colleagues to build up Siegwerk's business in the area of coatings for food packaging. You will be responsible for supporting our customers and recommending the best product for their needs.

As an expert in the field of coatings for packaging solutions, you will accompany and lead tests at the customer's premises or in our own laboratory, prepare technical reports and present our products to the customer.

Should any problems or complaints arise, you will solve them together and confidentially on site at the customer's premises or in the laboratory, making you an important sparring partner for them.

You will independently carry out audits at new customers and benchmark the performance of our products.

You communicate customer needs as ideas for new developments and support them or help to improve existing products.

You will work closely with your colleagues from Sales and provide product application training for customers.

Your Profile - What do You bring as Expert (f / m / d) Coatings & Packaging?

You have a degree in natural sciences in a relevant field with in-depth knowledge of polymer or physical chemistry, plastics or coating technology.

You see yourself as a pioneer in the field of coatings for packaging solutions and have the drive to drive this important segment forward for more sustainability.

You have in-depth knowledge of the paper and packaging markets as well as industrial experience in coatings for food packaging.

You have a deep understanding of chemical-physical processes and technologies, are creative, solution-oriented and innovative with a willingness to learn new things.

You communicate fluently in German and English and you are able to communicate technical topics to customers and colleagues in an understandable way.
