Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Their roles and responsibilities are covered by the following general bullet points.
  • Strategic planning and implementation for the installation of the new Control Systems project Palmengarten.
  • Expand the use of Siemens Analytics as the newly refurbished sites are on-boarded. Coordinate expansion activities, initiate process improvements in data collection, and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Support and subject matter expert for computerized facility management systems and building management systems (BMS) for alarm notification systems.
  • Assist operations in achieving the required audit results by developing technical solutions and process improvements related to computerized facility management systems.
  • Development and implementation of training courses on BMS and alarms within the systems.
  • Implementation of an alarm management program related to BMS, including testing and verification of alarm reporting.
  • Provide input and stewardship for change control of new installation and renovation projects, relative to BMS.
  • Ensure that the site operating teams have an adequate supply of BMS process controls and instrumentation critical spares.
  • Other related tasks and duties as assigned.

  • Senior Management has knowledge and data necessary for timely and effective decisions.

  • Effective and efficient use and management of computerized facility management systems.
  • Measurable progress on expansion and application of computerized building management systems across the Portfolio.

    • Key Competencies (Example)

    The below set of skills will contribute to the effective delivery of this role and to the JLL culture and values.

  • Written and Spoken English.
  • 10+ years' experience with building management controls systems.
  • Expert in BMS control strategies, preventive and proactive maintenance.
  • 10+ years' experience in the trades including electrical, mechanical, computer systems, HVAC, and piping / plumbing.
  • Advocate for and leader in implementing preventive and managed maintenance programs.
  • Demonstrated, or capability to gain understanding of P&G environmental, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven and respected leader.
  • Strong collaborator, negotiator and team player.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of personal computers, servers, networks, communication protocols and standard software packages.
  • Credential for energy management through an industry related organization. Strong prioritisation abilities - must be competent in the evaluation of data and generation of effective actions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams and customers.
  • Lead by example to create positive culture change and motivate people.
  • Vision to link customer needs with what can be made technologically / logistically possible - capacity to think broadly about how to improve existing processes by applying new ideas.
