Job Description

• Contribute your knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) with a focus on transformer models in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP), including LLM-based translation to English, and Named Entity Recognition (NER) in the context of industrial applications and become part of an innovative, young, and agile team.
• As part of your internship, you will take over and maintain an existing Machine Learning program for the anonymization of department-internal data and further develop it, potentially supporting the integration of LLM-based translation for multilingual data handling.
• The program is based on a Transformer model (NER) and is trained with a proprietary data generator.
• You will ensure that our ML models are accessible in an Azure Cloud environment as a service through pipelines.
• In addition, you will work closely with the team and advanced interfaces to ensure that your topics are technically documented and information is quickly shared within the company.
• You will largely independently and actively shape your activities.
• The exact areas of responsibility will be flexibly adapted to your experience, wishes, and abilities over the course of your internship.
