The IB University of Applied Sciences is a private, state-recognized university based in Berlin and further study centers in Hamburg, Cologne, Munich and Stuttgart. With its degree programs and its high diversity in its target groups, it is one of the up-and-coming private universities in Germany : It creates unique courses of study in the health and social sciences that can be studied full-time as well as part-time and part-time training.
The universities are looking for a Senior Manager (m / f / d) as Head of Marketing & Sales full-time as soon as possible . Do you feel addressed, and would you like to lead and further develop the universities Marketing and Sales nationally and internationally with us?
- Revenue Growth & Market Expansion : Lead the development and execution of innovative recruitment strategies aimed at maximizing revenue growth through increased student enrollments, particularly in Germany and other Eastern European markets.
- Domestic Student Recruitment Strategy : Design and implement targeted marketing and recruitment campaigns with a creative, data-driven, and strategic approach to attract domestic students, optimizing conversion at every stage of the recruitment funnel.
- Lead Generation & Funnel Optimization : Develop high-performing lead generation initiatives to enlarge the recruitment funnel, utilizing both digital and traditional channels. Continuously monitor and refine tactics to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
- Competition Analysis & Market Intelligence : Conduct ongoing competitive benchmarking and market analysis to identify opportunities and threats. Provide actionable insights to improve positioning, pricing, and program offerings.
- Go-to-Market Leadership : Lead the go-to-market strategy for new and existing programs, ensuring campaigns are aligned with market demand and institutional objectives.
- Cross-functional and International Collaboration : Work closely with international recruitment teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging, brand positioning, and to leverage synergies across markets.
- Sales Strategy & Goal Setting : Define clear, measurable sales goals and monitor performance. Ensure alignment with broader institutional business goals and adjust strategies based on performance analytics.
- Brand Development & Market Positioning : Position the universities as a leading global player in the fields of Management and Health. Strengthen brand awareness, enhance brand image, and uphold a cohesive corporate identity across domestic and international markets.
- Marketing Performance Review : Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and sales processes to ensure they deliver ROI, enhance brand attractiveness, and achieve set economic targets.
- At least five years of sales leadership experience, preferably in the international education field with proven success in developing and executing the enrollment and revenue growth strategy.
- Completed studies, e.g. in the fields of marketing, business administration, business psychology or comparable degree
- Very good knowledge of international marketing concepts and measures as well as sales techniques and concepts
- Proven strategic and conceptual experience in international marketing and sales
- Excellent proficiency in English (C2 level). German (C1–C2 level) is prerequisite
- Willingness to travel and desire to work with different teams in different countries
- Adept at setting clear KPIs and sales targets, and monitoring performance through CRM and analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience in strengthening brand presence across both digital and offline touchpoints.
- Experience working in or with private universities with strong commercial orientation and an entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with working in fast changing, growth-oriented environments.
