Global Regulatory Affairs Team Leader
Our client, a global leader in agricultural solutions, is seeking a highly experienced Regulatory Affairs Team Leader to join their dynamic team in North Rhine-Westphalia. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team of regulatory professionals, shape regulatory strategies, and ensure registrations to stringent EU regulations for active substances and plant protection products. Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of approximately 5 Global Regulatory Affairs Managers, ensuring effective performance and professional development.
Develop and implement comprehensive regulatory strategies for active substances and plant protection products in compliance with EU Regulation 1107 / 2009.
Oversee the preparation and submission of registration dossiers, ensuring accurate and timely submissions to regulatory authorities.
Manage and coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including local Country Registration Managers and scientific experts, to support global regulatory compliance.
Monitor and manage the budget for regulatory projects, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
Foster a transparent and collaborative working environment, facilitating regular communication of project updates and regulatory changes.
Support the ongoing development and refinement of the company’s global regulatory community and strategies.
Key Requirements
Approximately 15 years of experience in regulatory affairs, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
Proven expertise in the regulatory approval process for active substances and plant protection products, particularly under EU Regulation 1107 / 2009.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and guiding regulatory professionals.
Extensive knowledge of global regulatory standards, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and ensure compliance.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex regulatory information clearly and effectively.
A degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Agriculture) or a related field is required.

The position is based in North Rhine-Westphalia with a hybrid working model, offering flexibility to work remotely and from the office.
