The contribution to an evidence-based public health service, the introduction of efficient administrative structures and digital data transmission to combat the pandemic and support health protection are our core pillars. The department is currently planning the introduction of new IT applications at the Bavarian health authorities and will make an operational contribution to rolling these out across the country through technical and IT support.

Versatile tasks that will challenge you

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, managing and optimizing IT services, taking into account the special requirements of the public sector. Your tasks will include

• Close cooperation with the head of department, senior IT management and the project management office (PMO) to implement the IT strategy and IT architecture of the ÖGD funding pact projects (e.g. citizen portal, manual, etc.) as well as the LGL's further digitalization strategy
• Setting up the IT service organization and further developing the technical operating concept in consultation with senior IT management; perspective : managing and controlling the internal and external service teams
• Providing technical advice and support in the definition of IT service and IT operating contracts and / or technical advice on the selection of new IT systems, e.g. Kubernetes setup, ticket systems, etc.
• Creating, monitoring and controlling the service quality of service level agreements (SLAs), which define recurring services between provider and client
• Ensuring the continuous and smooth IT operation of ÖGD applications and / or applications
• Monitoring technical progress and reporting to management and project stakeholders as well as participating in the PMO as required
• Creating, implementing and optimizing IT service processes based on ITIL management and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal requirements and IT standards
• To ensure the feasibility of digital applications, you will be responsible for and lead training management and organize software documentation with the help of IT specialists and product owners
• Coordinate risk management and proactive problem solving throughout the entire project cycle
• Implementation of best practices and continuous improvement of processes as part of IT project management
• Occasional on-site assignments at the specialist authorities, also together with the IT teams, round off the daily routine

Recruitment is by way of a permanent employment relationship under collective bargaining law. Remuneration is based on the regulations of the TV-L. Depending on qualifications and personal requirements, the intended classification will be in pay group E 14.
