Metrology Engineer (m / f / d)

The Alignment Team within the AIT (Assembly, Integration and Test) department is responsible for all alignment tasks during the satellite integration phases. This includes the precise alignment of various instruments such as star trackers, propulsion thrusters and other components.

Your Tasks

• Support for various satellite projects in the creation of alignment plans. This means : Checking the alignment requirements and converting them into an alignment planIdentification of the measurement methods to be usedDefinition of a suitable sequence of measurements
• Creating the necessary procedures for the alignment
• Carrying out the measurements with theodolites, laser trackers and SpatialAnalyzer
• Evaluating the measurement results and summarizing them in test reports
• Training of personnel as far as recurring measurement tasks are concerned
• Developing standards for alignment measurements
