The Opportunity

You will be part of a highly flexible development team which focus on Hardware Security Modul ADYTON with members in Brussels, Aachen and abroad, so good communication skills are essential. We expect you to be able to lead the team and to guide them, not only in your role as a product manager for hardware and software of the ADYTON, but also in requirements analysis and in developing made-to-measure solutions for customers. You have the capabilities to lead the team and push the product to new releases and certification as product manager.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

In your role you are responsible for the product ADYTON and also for clarification on future needs of customer and certification requirements and needs like

• Security advice
• Security architecture
• Definition of full solutions for customer
• Make or review technical studies and offers of developments in security and cryptography field
• Manage certifications related to Hardware Security Modules (HSM)
• Coordinate with laboratories, and assist the team in creating documentation for customers or certification objectives
• Conduct analysis of changes in various security schemes and ensure compliance standards are up to date
• Manage the hardware aspects of an HSM
• Good knowledge on different specifications which are linked to ADYTON business (ISO, ANSI, PCI, etc.)
• Ensure that both the product and its associated certification requirements meet quality standards and undergo thorough testing
• Release planning and communication to customers
• Sales Support and enablement
• Future aspects of security like PQC
• Releated topics like PKI or Identity Management

Who Are We Looking For

• specialist in computer science with a related university degree
• strong aptitude for analysis, a results-oriented worker capable of finding creative solutions
• excellent team player
• outstanding communication skills, and a good command of spoken and written English
• awareness of a range of development support tools
• quick adaptation to new technologies
• very good language skills in English and/or German, French, Dutch
• technologies and techniques
• solid background in security (hardware and/or software) and applied cryptography
• knowledge on embedded systems and C development is an advantage but not needed
• knowledge of testing methodology to discuss solutions with the test team
• knowledge in development of low level software and Linux drivers to understand the full scope of the ADYTON environment
• excellent knowledge of the global Cloud-, GP- and Payment-HSM market, technology and competition
