This is a totally unique opportunity for someone with a background in IN-HOUSE PR / Communications and Fluent GERMAN & ENGLISH (5+ years in-house) with a solid network of contacts across the mainstream media to join this fast-growth business. You will work 100% remotely and have a direct and immediate impact on the company’s public profile and branding. You will be busy doing mainstream media interviews & creating new initiatives that will help the business thrive . This role will only suit experienced PR professional with existing relationships in mainstream media ( ARD, ZDF, RT, NTV and others ) and is regarded as a key appointment. In this role you will have plenty of autonomy and genuine independence

TITLE 100% REMOTE : IN-HOUSE PR MEDIA MANAGER GERMANY

LOCATION : GERMANY

SECTOR : Ecommerce and Media

SALARY : up to Eu130,000 per annum

LANGUAGES REQUIRED : Native standard German and fluent English

TYPE OF ROLE : permanent full-time. Remote.

Essential Experience : Inhouse PR experience. Media sector ideally. German

THE COMPANY

This is a global e-commerce business and on offer is a unique opportunity for someone with a background in PR (5+ years in-house) with a solid network of contacts across the mainstream media to join this business and have a direct and immediate impact on engagement and branding as the company expands rapidly in Europe. These are new positions and require 2 experts to take responsibility for driving engagement and strategic communications across all of Europe. This will include doing mainstream media interviews as well as crisis management. In this position you will also be involved in new messaging on strategic social and traditional medias.

AIM OF THE ROLE Represent the business to its EU audience, increase audience engagement and brand awareness & generate excitement and “positive vibes” for this major business

These roles will only suit experienced PR & Comms professionals with existing relationships in mainstream media (BBC, Reuters and others ) and both positions are regarded as a key appointments. In this role you will have plenty of autonomy and genuine independence

DUTIES

  • Support the messaging to deliver a clear vision, mission of company objectives
  • Developing and executing the delivery of a communications calendar
  • Undertake initiatives including media interviews, events , and posting on social media
  • Work on multiple PR initiatives simultaneously
  • Initiate projects that highlight brand excellence and create engagement stories that keep the business ahead of their competition
  • Crisis management where needed

Essential REQUIREMENTS :

  • PR role : a total of 5+ years’ experience as inhouse PR as well
  • Solid contacts list of journalists within the mainstream media . A background in as a news or assignment editor (broadcast or print) is also advantageous .
  • Fluent German and English
  • In-house PR experience is a must ( 5 years +++ minimum ) .
  • Degree educated ( essential)
  • Crisis management experience
