Your role and responsibilities
As the Head of Business IT for DE-PAEN, you play a key role in managing and optimizing the IT infrastructure and services within the Energy Industries business in Germany. You ensure that IT solutions align with business requirements while complying with both local and global ABB guidelines. With your expertise in IT security, infrastructure management, and business-oriented IT solutions, you make a significant contribution to the efficiency and security of the IT landscape. The work model for the role is : hybrid Your responsibilities :
- Management and support of the IT infrastructure in Germany to ensure stability, performance, scalability, and user-friendliness.
- Building, optimizing, and managing infrastructure support, as well as implementing an ITSM solution for efficient IT service delivery and automation.
- Monitoring and managing SIEM, as well as tracking and resolving vulnerabilities according to global ABB security guidelines to enhance IT security.
- Developing and implementing IT solutions that meet business requirements and comply with ABB guidelines.
- Planning, implementing, and operating a backup and disaster recovery concept to ensure the availability and integrity of business-critical data.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and maintaining local and global partnerships to optimally align the IT infrastructure with business needs.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 standards and ITILv4 best practices and using modern technologies such as Azure and VMware to optimize the infrastructure.
