JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description :
To lead and deliver medium to large projects in context of the Royal Canin Petfood Innovation Program. To provide technical leadership and drive projects which deliver competitive advantage through innovation, enable process capability advancements and novel processes, products and recipes to meet agreed project critical success factors. To work together with Royal Canin Team to enable the new product implementation programme by leveraging the Innovation Center-Verden and to prepare knowledge transfer documentation to support efficient handovers / roll-outs across the global Royal Canin network.
What are we looking for?
Food Science and Technology, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent)
Relevant experience in R&D process & technology, including the business environment
Must speak excellent English
Understanding of basic statistics including design of experiments
Preferably a good understanding of food manufacturing or similar industry (ie. meat industry processing)
Proven experience in conducting and delivering innovation projects including implementation activities
Scientific methods and mindset
What will be your key responsibilities?
Accountable for delivering operational objectives of medium to large projects from RC Wet Program
Accountable to develop process and product solutions from initial concepts that deliver defined technology, consumer and / or customer benefits
Accountable for organising and planning of product test runs in our Innovation Center
Accountable to ensure products meet product performance targets
Accountable for management of activities from exploration to handover with Royal Canin
Responsible for the identification of new processes / raw materials for applications in Royal Canin projects
