GILBANE is seeking to hire a Security Manager to support our upcoming project in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Gilbane is seeking a Security Manager to be responsible for identifying, developing, implementing and maintaining security processes, practices, and policies throughout a Gilbane division. This role reports to the Director of Site Security and will primarily sit in an office.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the liaison with police department to insure an effective police presence at project sites or at company events, when needed
- Work with the Director of Site Security to develop a security strategy for labor disruptions
- Work with the Director of Site Security to develop security standards for project sites
- Conduct initial reviews on new construction development sites and recommend security planning strategies
- Coordinate security strategies with project sites in the city
- File complaint reports with police department, as required, regarding any crimes or attempted crimes at targeted sites
- Investigate and gather evidence on labor disruptions and associated activity
- Maintain case files all investigations specifically those related to criminal complaints and associated NLRB violations
- Continually review targeted sites or sites identified as High Risk to review and upgrade security protection
- Insure contracted security vendor’s guards are familiar with and have been trained regarding the Gilbane’s security strategy for labor disruptions in order to guarantee a coordinated response;
- Conduct random off-hour visits to targeted sites, and sites identified as High Risk, to review security preparedness
- Provide threat assessments for and coordination of personal protection of Gilbane executives
- Coordinate selection of security equipment for project sites
- Coordinate security support with contractors
- Conduct onsite construction security, physical security, and blast assessment surveys of Government facilities or potential sites worldwide
- Write reports detailing the potential vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies based on these surveys
- Investigate and inspect circumstances to resolve events that impact security
- Oversee security-related activities, including, construction security planning and monitoring; participating in security oversight inspections; liaising with representatives of other Government agencies; contingency planning
- Manage the Construction Security Plan under ICS / ICD 705-1 guidelines
- Prepare DD254 forms for subcontractors and coordinated visitor requests through DISS
- Prepare and package eqip clearance upgrades for employees
- Conduct security briefings for new employees
- Coordinate with the Client for material handling, delivery, and inspections
- Manage personnel and equipment site access
