As our first QA Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in establishing and scaling our quality assurance practices, ensuring our B2B products deliver exceptional experiences. This is an opportunity to define and implement QA strategies, champion quality, and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. What you will do Own and implement the entire QA function from scratch, setting the foundation for a quality-driven culture Design, plan, and execute manual and automated testing strategies to ensure product excellence Collaborate with engineers to integrate testing into the development process, encouraging autonomous quality checks Advocate for quality by pushing for robust testing practices across all teams Play a strategic role in choosing and implementing tools, processes, and frameworks for comprehensive QA coverage across all levels of testing (unit, integration, system, performance) Drive early risk discovery and mitigation by deeply understanding requirements and aligning with stakeholders Measure live product behavior, establish quality metrics, and hold teams accountable for quality outcomes Guide the team to adopt a pragmatic and sustainable approach to quality culture Requirements Who you are You have 3+ years of meaningful experience as a QA engineer You are relentlessly detail-oriented You are a self-starter who thrives in zero-to-one scenarios and can grow a function from scratch You are resilient, with a strong sense of service and a passion for making things better while being realistic and pragmatic about status-quo You are a strategic thinker who can balance hands-on testing (ideally automation, but also manual) with high-level QA planning You have experience driving quality initiatives in cross-functional teams and holding stakeholders accountable You are flexible and pragmatic about tools, you will be the decision-maker here as you build the function Nice to have Experience in startups or dynamic environments with limited or no QA culture Familiarity with analytics and using data to drive quality improvements Knowledge of modern CI / CD pipelines and developer tooling The Tech Stack While you’ll have the freedom to define the QA tools and technologies, you’ll work alongside our tech stack, which includes : Java 21 (Spring Boot 3), Python, Node.js, SQL, Postgres, AWS, Databricks, Terraform Typescript, Next.js, React GitHub Actions, make.com, OpenAI Join us to champion quality, drive innovation, and make a real impact as we scale.
