Product Engineer (m / f / d)

Your ResponsibilitiesWork in the New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering team which drives Advantest towards operational excellence in an outsourced manufacturing environmentActively drive and influence designs of new products (HW and test SW)Qualify changes both in NPI phase and production and manage the roll out to the whole supply chainManage product changes for manufacturing process optimization, cost reduction and quality improvementsSupport manufacturing of existing electronic hardware products of the V93000 IC testerDefine and monitor manufacturing metrics to monitor quality, analyze root causes in case of issues and define corrective actions with the objective to constantly fulfill Advantest customer demandWork closely with Advantest contract manufacturers and Advantest development, supply chain and product marketing teams in a very international environment.

Your QualificationsBachelor / Master degree in electronic engineering or equivalentKnowledge of development of printed circuit assemblies and years of experience in end-to-end manufacturing processes of high level electronic assembliesAnalytical skills in failure identification (data analysis to identify HW errors, electronic measurements, debugging electronic assemblies)Strong ownership and pro-active mindsetAbility to define schedules and keep time linesGood Communication skills and team player in cross-functional and cross-company environment both in english and germanWilling to travel up to 20% of time
