Your Impact

We are seeking a Senior Embedded Linux Developer to lead the design development and maintenance of Linux-based systems for ARM64 embedded platforms. This position is ideal for an engineer passionate about secure efficient and maintainable embedded systems running Debian- or Ubuntu-based operating systems.

What Youll Do

Location : Kassel

Reports to : Kai Baumgart Director of RF Engineering

• Develop and maintain custom Linux OS builds for ARM64 embedded platforms.
• Manage and maintain Debian-based distributions including creation and maintenance of .deb packages.
• Implement system hardening and security best practices for embedded Linux.
• Optimize system performance boot time and reliability across hardware configurations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on system integration and validation.
• Automate build deployment and maintenance processes using bash scripting and Linux toolchains.
• Contribute to kernel configuration and driver development as needed.

Work Location : This role is based out of our Kassel office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.
