The Systems Engineering team carries technical responsibility in the areas of large-scale battery storage, hydrogen (P2G), and off-grid systems for development, planning, execution, and system monitoring.
Your task is to take technical responsibility for control systems / SCADA systems in large-scale battery storage and substations.
What a typical day looks like :
- System Planning : You design, conceptualize, and implement SCADA systems for large-scale battery storage and substations
- Concept Development : You create functional and communication concepts in line with project-specific requirements for control philosophy, protection systems, and integration into higher-level control centers. In doing so, you use appropriate protocols (IEC 61850, IEC 60870, Modbus, OPC UA, etc.)
- Testing & Commissioning : You independently perform system tests, commissioning, troubleshooting, and simulations or supervise subcontractors during these activities
- Collaboration : You work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure system functionality and bring systems into operation
- Specifications : You prepare requirement specifications for components and software solutions to be procured and take technical responsibility for supplier selection
Your Skills :
SCADA Know-how : Solid knowledge of SCADA systems and communication protocols (IEC 61850 and 60870, OPC UA, Modbus TCP, etc.)Professional Experience : At least 3 years of experience in the design and commissioning of SCADA systems, preferably in the energy sector, as well as basic knowledge of network technologyEducation : Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Energy Engineering, or a comparable qualificationCompetence : Analytical thinking, structured work approach, and problem-solving skillsLanguage Skills : Good command of German and English, both written and spokenDoes this sound interesting to you?
