Engineer (m/f/d) Ref. 70367
Job Profile:
Assume product responsibility for the assigned range of components (nacelles/airframe-related components); create and approve maintenance documentation; define in-house developments, repairs, modifications, and testing procedures; perform and implement calculations.
Coordinate and communicate regarding technical issues among production, administration, customers, and management.
Track and investigate malfunctions, technical complaints, and limit exceedances; initiate corrective actions.
Identify optimization potential within the maintenance process; develop concepts for alternatives; evaluate solution concepts from technical and economic perspectives; develop and implement action plans.
Work on projects and lead sub-projects. Perform special tasks
Facilitate know-how exchange with other business units within the LHT Group
Personal requirements (education, knowledge, skills):
Completed university degree (or university of applied sciences degree) in engineering—preferably in aircraft construction/aeronautical engineering or mechanical engineering—or, in individual cases, proven equivalent qualifications
Good understanding of business fundamentals and interrelationships
Knowledge of aviation regulations
Good knowledge of aircraft/equipment maintenance
Knowledge regarding the manufacturing, properties, and design of fiber-composite and sandwich structures
Very good English skills
Good IT skills (3D CAD systems such as SolidWorks or CATIA, MS Office, SAP R/3)
Ability to work in a team
Good negotiation skills, assertiveness, and strong powers of persuasion
Confident and professional demeanor/interpersonal skills
High level of flexibility and sense of responsibility
Ability to structure, organize, and plan complex workflows and issues
Strong decision-making ability and personal initiative
Language skills
English Level B1 – Advanced language proficiency
