Business Development Manager, Business Line IOS (d / m / f) Location : Jena Your DutiesBusiness Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of business objectives among the company’s sales, marketing and business development professionals. Their duties include comparing current sales numbers to desired quotas, delegating sales and marketing tasks among team members and meeting with upper management to discuss their progress. Identifying new business opportunities and potential markets with expected revenue generation in 3-5 year timeframeDeveloping and managing relationships with external partners and ecosystemsFacilitating growth opportunities with strategic partners.Support ad hoc business reporting on opportunities, markets, and / or current business trendsRepresent / present at tradeshows and conferencesCreate / publish articles / presentations for brand developmentPresent to internal executive managementYour Qualifications2+ years in engineering or engineering equivalent role2+ years experience in similar business development or marketing role5+ years experience in the semiconductor industry with a semiconductor manufacturer2+ years experience with microcontroller and or firmware related productsStrong influencing skills to communicate both up and down in matrix organizationInternational travel experience in Europe, Asia, and AmericasDemonstrated ability to successfully present complex technical topics to audiences from engineering to C-level in both public and private forumsDemonstrated ability to publish material suitable for tradeshows / conference / publicationsExperience in optical or RF semiconductor components, preferred but not requiredFluency in English and German requiredWillingness to travel internationally, ~25% time expectedYou will benefit fromBusiness Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of business objectives among the company’s sales, marketing and business development professionals.
