Job Title : Business Development Manager – Software Services

Salary : €100,000-120,000 per annum

Location : Remote (Based in Germany)

Travel : Ad-hoc travel to Bucharest, Romania, and within the DACH region

Our client are on a mission to increase and grow their business in Germany and are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead this growth. We are seeking dynamic and proactive sales people with a strong background in software services.

Responsibilities :

  • Market Research and Strategy : Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities in the DACH region. Develop and implement strategies to successfully penetrate the German market.
  • Drive New Revenue : Identify, qualify, and engage new clients through cold calls, emails, networking events, and industry conferences. Build a robust pipeline and nurture relationships with decision-makers.
  • Solution Selling : Understand client needs, challenges, and goals. Collaborate with technical teams to design tailored solutions leveraging Microsoft, Azure, Java, and full-stack development expertise.
  • Sales Process Management : Oversee the sales process from lead generation to deal closure. Prepare proposals, deliver impactful presentations, and negotiate agreements.
  • Performance Tracking : Monitor sales metrics, report on targets, and maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Collaboration : Partner with marketing, client engagement, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience :
  • 7+ years in sales or relationship management in software services, digital platforms, or a related technical field.
  • Proven ability to secure new enterprise accounts and deliver from discovery to project completion.
  • Technical Skills :
  • Strong understanding of software development, Microsoft technologies, Azure, Java, and full-stack development.
  • Ability to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Education :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Languages :
  • Fluency in both German and English is required. Additional DACH-region languages are a bonus.
  • Soft Skills :
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Comfortable in individual contributor and leadership roles.
  • Strong organizational and process-driven mindset.
