Strategic Liability Underwriter

Your tasks :

  • Development of market-driven and country-specific underwriting strategies for the international commercial liability business of HDI Global SE
  • Underwriting and sales activities, such as calculation, negotiation of large and complex risks and programs
  • Support and guidance of international branch offices or subsidiaries, including occasional travel abroad
  • Understanding and discussing profit and loss statements, local underwriting strategies
  • Portfolio steering and claims analysis
  • Conducting liability underwriting audits worldwide
  • Willingness to engage in the culture transformation of our corporation and territorial markets of responsibility
  • Principle works and qualification of employees
  • Project work

Your profile :

  • Several years of professional experience in the liability insurance sector, preferably with international footprint and work experience abroad
  • Commercial, technical and scientific understanding
  • University degree in economics / business administration or law or equivalent qualification
  • Team player, entrepreneurial skills and reliable
  • Intercultural skills
  • Fluent English, verbally and in writing, German language skills are beneficial but not required
