WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: build your career on our Standalone Transformation).

To bridge the gap, you will be employed by BASF SE on a temporary basis with the simultaneous binding promise of permanent employment in the new company.

• In your new position, you support the implementation and maintenance of RMS and ICS, including setting standards and methodologies.
• You act as the operational point of contact for assigned processes or entities and ensure the consistent application of RMS and ICS requirements across the organization.
• Furthermore, you support risk assessments, control design and control optimization.
• With your expertise you support the development and delivery of RMS and ICS training sessions and guidance materials and contribute to improving risk and control awareness as well as maturity across the business.
• Last but not least, you serve as the key operational contact for risk management and internal control matters and manage monitoring activities, facilitate review meetings with business units and consolidate risk information for reporting purposes through established tools and processes.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• university degree in Economics, Natural Sciences, Law, or a comparable field
• at least three years of professional experience in an RMS or legal department with a methodological focus, ideally within the agriculture, chemical or another regulated industry
• solid knowledge of RMS and ICS concepts including risk assessment, control design and testing, RCM maintenance, hands-on experience with control automation, data analytics, and GRC tools are an advantage
• proven digital and AI focus with the ability to leverage modern technologies and data-driven approaches to enhance efficiency and quality
• excellent German and English skills as well as proficiency in Governance, Risk and Compliance-related IT solutions, systems and tools
• strong analytical and communication skills combined with integrity, assertiveness and the ability to drive practical, effective compliance solutions while acting as a role model for Risk culture
