About the role :

We are looking for highly motivated, self-driven, and experienced Senior Sales Leader to join our Global Revenue group in Germany.

The ideal candidate is a quota-carrying sales leader, experienced in managing a successful, senior sales team to achieve company growth goals, and accustomed to a ‘high-velocity’ sales model, partnering with Sales Development Reps, Inside Sales Reps and partners to grow the region.

Candidates should have executive-level contacts and be flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing situations. You must be results-driven, customer-focused, technologically savvy, and innovative at building internal relationships and external partnerships to attack the market with passion!

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Identify, develop and execute account strategies to close new business opportunities and expand revenue with customers across the assigned region; independently and cooperatively.
  • Scope, negotiate and bring to closure agreements to exceed booking and revenue quota targets.
  • Target and gain access to decision-makers in key prospect accounts in the assigned territory.
  • Provide ongoing training and development of the sales team.
  • Own sales forecasting, pipeline management and upward reporting to regional AVP Sales.
  • Hands-on & customer-facing role. Leading demos and complex pilots.
  • Define new business campaigns horizontally and vertically to generate new opportunities with a demonstrable Return on Investment.
  • Build upsell / cross-sell strategies and reference programs to develop and grow relationships within our current customer base.

Requirements :

  • Direct quota carrier with at least 5 years history of meeting and over-achieving targets in the Cyber Security market, with a focus on Enterprise accounts.
  • Previous managerial experience, leading a successful sales team.
  • Strong focus on driving results (sales targets, forecasting disciplines, pipeline management, etc.).
  • Consultative sales approach, present Pentera's technology and product to prospective customers.
  • Understand complex customer requirements on both business and technical levels & ability to articulate these whilst bringing Pentera solutions to help solve them.
  • Significant and proven experience developing relationships with senior executives.
  • Leverage and maintain CRM tools to record all opportunities and deals (i.e. real-time forecast and funnel management).
  • Native German speaker, located in the Northern or Eastern region of Germany.
  • A Bachelor’s (BA / BS) or Master’s Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Outstanding presentation, written, verbal and closing skills.
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated, confident, competitive, thorough and tenacious.
  • Ability to overcome sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
  • Ability to be open minded and committed to a growth mindset.
  • Willing to travel on short notice, up to 50% of the time.
