Tasks

Senior Frontend Engineer ( EU Only No Relocation Contract / FullTime / Remote)

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our product development team. This is a remote position open only to candidates residing in the European Union (EU). Please note that we do not sponsor visas but we can assist with extensions if required.

You will join the frontend team to help us build the essential components which will make our platform robust and scalable so that we can deploy it to municipalities around the world. We are looking for an experienced software engineer who has proven experience building scalable frontends with the tools and technologies we use to build our platform. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience designing and developing web applications with complex frontends a focus on React.

Role Responsibilities :

Build custom user interfaces using React (JavaScript);

Responsible for adhering to the architecture and follow industry standards and best practices;

Working with the technical architect the test team backend and UI teams to ensure a smooth delivery of product features;

Conduct peer code reviews;

Responsible for code quality;

Take part in our agile development process and coordinate other frontend developers;

Requirements

Who we are looking for

Bsc or Msc in computer science or a related field;

6 years of professional experience as a frontend engineer;

Indepth knowledge of JavaScript HTML CSS and related web technologies;

Previous industry experience with React and Redux;

Knowledge of ObjectOriented Programming SOLID and Typescript;

High attention to detail both in code and UI / UX;

Previous experience working remotely;

Willing to learn new technologies;

Excellent English speaking skills (writing and verbal);

EU Timezone Candidates (CET / 2);

Experience with Git source control management

GraphQL and Reactive GraphQL

Nice to have :

Knowledge and prior experience with data visualization (i.e. d3.js);

Experience in building products that are powered by bigdata;

German speaking skills;
