At CARIAD, we're bundling and further expanding the Volkswagen Group's software expertise. We're uniting over 6,500 global experts to build a scalable technology stack, including a software platform, unified electronic architecture and reliable connection to the automotive cloud.

Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.

Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop, integrate and deploy scalable software (components) on the cloud within an agile, cross-location and diverse team according to requirements
• Collaborate with partner teams and stakeholders to assure that our products fulfill the customer needs and contribute to performance of our vehicles
• Software Testing and Quality are guiding principles in your daily development work
• Communicate and document status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner
• Be part of an international agile team throughout all phases of the software lifecycle
• Participate in and contribute to peer code reviews

WHO YOU ARE

• Successfully completed studies in the field of Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related subject. Alternatively, a comparable qualification such as vocational training coupled with work experience
• Ideally, more than three years of experience in full-stack software development including good software development skills (e.

g. data structures, patterns, unit testing)

• Expertise with cloud-based development (preferable AWS or Azure) is beneficial
• Enthusiasm for solving challenging problems and learning new things as well as passion for innovative products, current tech trends and the future of automotive mobility
• Knowledge of agile software development, in particular Scrum or SAFe
• Fluent English language skills (oral and written), German language skills are a plus
