YOUR ROLE

You will be responsible for overseeing the testing phase within a software development project. This role ensures that software quality standards are met and that any issues are identified and addressed before the product goes live.

• Planning and Strategy : Define the scope, objectives, and approach for testing. Develop a comprehensive test strategy and test plan.
• Ensure alignment with project timelines, budget, and quality goals;
• Team Coordination and Management : Assign tasks, manage workload, and maintain communication with team members;
• Resource Management : Ensure that testing environments, tools, and resources are available and optimized. Identify and address any gaps in resources or skill sets;
• Test Execution and Monitoring : Oversee test execution, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Track test progress, monitor key metrics (e.g., defect density, test coverage), and ensure quality standards are maintained.

• Prioritize issues and ensure timely resolutions;
• Risk and Issue Management : Identify potential risks to testing and the overall project;
• Stakeholder Communication : Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to align testing activities with project goals.
• Provide regular updates, test summaries, and final reports to stakeholders;
• Continuous Improvement : Keep up-to-date with testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.

YOUR PROFILE

• Technical Proficiency : Knowledge of testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail), scripting, and test automation, ISTQB certified;
• Leadership : Ability to manage teams, mentor staff, and resolve conflicts;
• Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving skills to assess test results and identify patterns or issues;
• Communication : Effective written and verbal communication to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Attention to Detail : Precision in tracking test metrics, documenting issues, and ensuring thorough test coverage;
• Fluency in French and a good command in English are required.
