W2-Professorship – Computer Science, especially Security Analytics

Your Responsibilities

• Conducting English-language as well as German-language courses in the subject areas of data science, security analytics and AI, as well as innovative expansion of course offerings.
• Representation of the professorship in teaching, research, transfer as well as academic self-administration in the fields of study.
• Strengthening of the research and transfer activities of the university, expansion of a research profile as well as cooperation with internal and external research partners.

Your Background

• Completed university studies in computer science or related fields
• Practical experience in the fields of data science and security analytics
• Willingness to teach hybrid courses
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary manner
• Excellent networking skills in the subject areas
• Enjoyment of and experience in applied research in the above areas of expertise
• Ideally, experience in the acquisition and implementation of third-party funded projects

Recruitment requirements according to 47 of the State University Act (LHG)

The hiring requirements for professors are regulated in 47 of the State Higher Education Act (LHG). In addition to a completed university degree, the special aptitude for academic work, which must usually be proven by a doctorate is required as well as the proof of pedagogical aptitude.
