Senior Accountant #1510
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Senior Accountant to join a growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full accounting and reporting process for our local operations, as well as contributing to the overall financial management of an international group.
You will have the opportunity to help build and develop the accounting department over the next 2-5 years.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, payroll, and tax preparation
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for local management and the group headquarters
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices
- Support the commercial team and provide financial insights to drive business decisions
- Mentor and potentially manage 1-3 accounting staff as the team grows
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a professional accounting role
- Strong technical accounting skills, including expertise in preparing financial statements and managing reporting processes
- Proficient in accounting software, such as SAGE
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with the photonics or a similar technical industry is preferred
