Current INTERNAL Local National Employees throughout Germany. This covers all current Local National employees of the U.S.

Forces in Germany, including U.S. Air Force and AAFES-Europe within Germany

EXTERNAL Local National Applicants, who reside in Germany.

Hauptaufgaben

Performs a combination of duties concerned with the requisitioning, receipt, transporting, control and warehouse of supply items.

Processes supply requisitions. Reviews and edits requisition for completeness, accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Assures stock numbers, prices, sources of supply and other data are correct. Revises quantities ordered based on number of items on hand, and reviews records for possible substitutions of items.

Signs onto automated systems in order to processes receipt transactions for material being received by contract, local purchase and other means.

Compares packing lists, receiving documents, bills of lading, inspection reports and other documents with contracts, purchase orders, or requisitions to-verify accuracy of stock identification, quantity, costs, and other pertinent data.

Prepares material receipt documents for those shipments having no major discrepancies. Investigates receiving documents involving discrepancies, such as averages, shortages, substitutes, and non-specification items;

examines authorizations, charges, inspection reports, pricing guides, and other files to ascertain source of variance. Maintains contacts with other organizations to obtain information on discrepancies.

Accepts or rejects material based an investigation / classification of materials and proceeds with standard procedures. Furnishes information to other personnel for continued investigation.

Forwards copies of receiving transactions to other activities for completion of actions.

Adjusts inventory discrepancies. Prepares inventory adjustments for discrepancies disclosed by physical inventories, warehouse refusals, transfer of material to special accounts, assembly or, disassembly of kits, sets, etc.

Investigates the activity (receipts, issues, etc.) on the item by searching summaries, activity registers, and other reference sources.

Initiates action to freeze material to preclude issue. Prepares inventory adjustments when the cause of the discrepancy is determined.

Collects data for the preparation of Report of Survey. Maintains and prepares records, reports and files relative to work being performed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

C-4A :

E&T Level I : 2 years of creditable experience as defined in A below.

Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of creditable experience as described in A below.

E&T Level II : 1 year of creditable experience as defined in A below.

E&T Level III and above : No additional experience required.

Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.

Experience A : Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.

• Office Automation skills are required.(Microsoft Office)
• Drivers license class B & C1 required.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL :

• English Language Proficiency Level C1 required.
• German Language Proficiency Level B2 required.

• Heavy lifting up to 72 lbs. required
• Telework : Employee may perform the work at a location away from the regular worksite (e.g. at home) on a non-routine, ad-hoc basis.

This includes work performed to complete a short-term special assignment or to accommodate special circumstances.
