The employees at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Hamburg develop and produce vehicle components in these five core areas : Axles and axle components, steering columns as well as exhaust technology components, lightweight structural parts and electromobility components.

Pioneering technologies, such as modern welding processes and the combination of hydroforming and plastic injection molding, have been further developed at the site for series production.

Components from all five product areas can be found in the entire Mercedes-Benz passenger car fleet - from electric vehicles to the S-Class.

Our team is responsible for managing the just-in-sequence production of axles, just-in-time production of axle components and iSG as well as the dispatch of all products from the Hamburg plant to our customers.

These are the challenges you will face :

• Full collaboration in the Production Control JIS and Shipping team
• Developing, preparing and analyzing key figures as part of daily production and delivery controlling
• Independent processing of project topics such as digitalization and automation of processes, inventory management and plant control
• Independent analysis and further development of processes, methods and tools to ensure delivery capability in both production control and shipping
• Supporting the planning of production programs for the various product areas at the Hamburg plant
• Support in the planning, implementation, optimization and operational control of outbound freight

Qualifikationen

• Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, business informatics, production engineering or a comparable course of study specializing in logistics / production
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English
• Confident handling of MS Office, SAP, VBA programming, Python
• Commitment, initiative, independence, reliability, ability to work in a team, communication skills, ability to work under pressure, even under time pressure
• Analytical and structured way of working
