Your Role :
As Compliance Expert Monitoring & Controls you will join our Center of Expertise (CoE) for Compliance, reporting to the CoE Manager (RA, Monitoring, External Requirements) & Global AML Lead.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for Monitoring & Controls, including monitoring existing compliance KPIs and metrics as well as setting up, testing and maintaining new monitoring routines (including direct transaction testing, where applicable) and post-monitoring remediation plans, involving IT tool(s), the global / local compliance community, various businesses, enabling functions and other stakeholder.
Furthermore, the role involves taking over internal reporting tasks and supporting other compliance ad hoc projects as assigned.
The Center of Expertise (CoE) designs and prepares the roll-out of the Compliance Management System (CMS). It provides the global Compliance Program, standards and appropriate governance and maximizes functional efficiencies with centrally pooled expertise and tools.
The CoE includes dedicated experts for the different elements of the Compliance Portfolio and is organized in three teams.
Your team consists of 6 colleagues based in Germany and Poland focusing on key CMS Elements including Risk Assessment, Policies & Procedures, Training & Awareness, Monitoring & Controls, and AML.
Who you are :
- Background in consultancy (ideally Big 4); law firm, or compliance / legal / internal audit department in the Healthcare and / or Life Science sector (min. 2-4 years).
- Digital mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; affinity for data; ability to understand KPIs and metrics, and to draw data-driven conclusions;
willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Proficiency in Excel; experience in Power BI / Tableau would be an advantage.
- Curious mindset, willing to understand and assess existing routines for compliance, effectiveness, efficiency and improvement potential.
- Project management skills : ability to plan tasks and deliver results within deadlines.
- Experience with an international environment with the ability to work across different cultures, enjoying a global work environment.
- Comfortable working and interacting with all levels of management and to understand legal, finance, business and communication issues associated with the role.
- Strong team player, comfortable to work in cross-functional teams with a strong sense of ownership and readiness to assume additional responsibility when needed.
- Excellent oral and written English; German or any other additional languages are a plus.
