Responsibilities :
- Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) and Capex sourcing for one or more sites in Frankfurt or Europe
- Assessing near- and long-term plans with suppliers to address business needs
- Negotiating contract / price agreements and assuring that the sites are purchasing as per strategy
- Creating and driving category specific sourcing strategies
- Consult with stakeholders to develop alternative solutions; advise on options, risks, total cost of ownership, and business impacts
- Market research and sharing cost saving opportunities with the business
- Analyzing spend data, looking for opportunities to consolidate the supplier base as for saving opportunities
- Establish a network with internal customers at the sites . reliability and plant engineers
- Support European and Global Sourcing projects
- Deliver productivity and cost savings
- Being the point of escalation towards the supplier
- Expediting of critical materials / services
Qualifications :
- 1 - 3 years of experience in MRO or Capex sourcing; chemical industry experience preferred
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Engineering Science or equivalent professional experience / degree
- Strong communication skills (written / verbal)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience in project management and implementation of new ideas, ability to drive change
- Strategic sourcing experience including contract negotiations, supplier relationship management, productivity / cost savings, spend analysis, TCOs
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong analytical skills
- Must be driven for results and have strong perseverance
- Proficient in English and German; other languages are beneficial
- Excellent team work and communication skills environmental
- Working Knowledge of SAP Procurement Systems
