Project Development Manager
Our client is one of Europe's fastest growing Solar PV and Battery Storage developers. Backed by a large European fund, they have built an impressive pipeline of projects across six countries.
They are looking for a Project Development Manager to join their team in Germany to further complement the growth of their unique and high-performing team.
Your area of responsibility :
- Support in the search, evaluation and securing of suitable locations for utility scale PV and Battery Storage projects
- Support in contract negotiations to secure sites in coordination with our legal department

Requesting grid compatibility assessments from grid operators to obtain grid connection

Establishing and managing contacts with the authorising authorities, municipalities

- Coordination of all approval and planning steps to achieve construction readiness
- Project presentation and contract negotiations with municipalities
- Management of external consultants and project developers
- Taking responsibility for project reporting and the budget
Your profile :
Completed (Bachelor's) degree in the field of economics, law,
environmental engineering, environmental technology, renewable energies, landscape planning,
Landscape architecture, environmental ecology, environmental planning, physical geography,
environmental sciences, horticulture and landscaping, agriculture or comparable training.

- You work in a structured and analytical manner, can react flexibly and quickly to changing problems and are happy to take on responsibility
- Professional experience in the development of renewable energy projects and a good
network
- Very good negotiating skills paired with a convincing demeanour and a good intuition for dialogue partners
- Business fluent German and very good written and spoken English skills
- Proficiency in another foreign language is an advantage
- High willingness to travel as well as an independent and careful way of working
