Sales Executive
We are looking to hire a Sales Executive for our well-known global shipping company client. This position is responsible for driving outside sales operations and executing commercial strategies as determined by the Sales Director.
Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive and impactful field sales visits to potential clients, key accounts, and local businesses within the market.
- Stay updated on market trends and execute targeted marketing activities aligned with sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets, while expanding and maintaining the customer portfolio.
- Prepare and present competitive rate proposals based on client interactions, adhering to established pricing frameworks and agreements.
- Monitor and manage work schedules to ensure alignment between targeted and actual sales, focusing on maximizing revenue.
- Oversee the operational and commercial aspects of services to ensure seamless business flow and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and German.
- 2-3 years of experience in Sales, preferably in shipping, logistics, maritime, or transportation sectors, with a focus on the West and North Africa markets.
- Ability to travel extensively (at least 3 days a week) for client visits across Germany.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
- Well-organized, customer-focused, and adept at problem-solving.
- Professional demeanor and presentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Based in Hamburg.
