In this interesting position, you will be responsible for the creation of a new SAP enterprise data architecture and for supporting the legacy data that is getting migrated into it.

Your assignments

Develop and refine design proposals for the SAP S / 4HANA data model and architecture, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements.

Lead data design sessions with business and IT teams, perform data profiling of legacy ERP systems, and document findings to ensure a seamless transition to the new architecture.

Identify and validate objects for the design phases of SAP S / 4HANA rollout, ensuring alignment with global templates.

Maintain and educate teams on the SAP S / 4HANA data model architecture, identifying areas where data design impacts business processes.

Establish and ensure compliance with data governance frameworks, integrating with Master Data Governance (MDG) and Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) projects.

Support data migration processes, including the development of tools, rulesets, and assessments of existing mappings.

Provide strategic consultancy, scope definition, and planning for complex projects and services, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.

Represent the team in management meetings, collaborate with international and cross-functional internal and external stakeholders and teams, and propose enhancements to data architecture and processes.

Your profile

A degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

At least 10 years of professional experience in data architecture, preferably in the life sciences, pharma, or healthcare sector, thereof at least 3 years with a focus on SAP S / 4 HANA.

SAP certifications are advantageous.

Proven experience in leading complex data architecture projects within SAP S / 4HANA environments and managing interdependencies across multiple workstreams and geographically dispersed teams.

Deep knowledge of data strategies, modeling, integration, management, protection, and security principles, combined with the ability to translate technical topics into business language.

Long-term experience in quality and risk management as well as regulatory (GxP) compliance.

Strong presentation and communication skills in both English and German, especially when managing both internal and external suppliers and stakeholders.

A highly organized, proactive, customer-, and results-oriented team player with both a strong ability to navigate complex, constantly changing environments and a high level of confidentiality.
