Head of Network Planning

Our client, a leading player in the FMCG sector based in Bonn, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Network Planning to join their team.
This is a pivotal role that will shape the future of their supply chain strategy and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement comprehensive network planning strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze and optimize logistics networks to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network planning with business objectives and market demands.
- Lead and mentor a team of planning professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies to forecast demand, manage inventory, and mitigate risks.
- Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply chain, promoting environmentally responsible practices.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong background in network planning and supply chain management.
- Proven track record of successful strategic planning and execution.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in German is highly desirable; fluency in English is required.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
