About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the execution of an RFI / RFQ. This includes managing the team of architects, engineers, and supporting roles to complete required deliverables for the RFI / RFQ as defined by HARMAN process.
You will ensure the RFI / RFQ response is completed per the defined schedule and expected quality. You will partner with Customer Group teams to ultimately delivery the RFI / RFQ package to our customer.
What You Will Do
- Form and lead a cross-functional team developing the RFI / RFQ following HARMAN Process, maintaining the RFQ schedule
- Leverage products and platform components aligned with portfolio strategy and the overall Sales pursuit strategy.
- Ensure the RFQ milestones and reviews are prepared with expected quality levels e.g. Concept Reviews, Business Case Reviews, Customer Technical Presentations, etc).
- Consolidate the plan-of-record and assess risks, opportunities, assumptions and deviations for a particular program in order to enable a robust decision process by management.
- Maintain dashboards for executive review of RFQ status, showing pertinent KPIs and consistent tracking.
- Ensure delivery of all technical inputs to the program Business Case
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering
- 8+ years of industry-related experience
- Fundamental knowledge of Program Management processes in project estimation, execution, and process implementation.
- Excellent organizational skills and comfort with detailed information, including financial, technical tasks and workstreams, and deliverables / action items.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
- In-depth understanding of all the supporting business functions and principles.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills to have effective communication to all levels of the organization.
What Makes You Eligible
- 5+ years of Automotive Experience in Infotainment, Car Audio, Speakers, Electronics, Clusters, ADAS or Central Compute Units
- Experience working on automotive RFQ’s
- Automotive business landscape knowledge
- Be willing to travel up to 15%, domestic and international travel
- Be willing to work in an office in Novi MI, or Germany, or China
- Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
