Investment Associate
The Role :
- Deal Sourcing : Actively seek out and identify potential investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector through research, industry relationships, and market analysis
- Due Diligence : Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential projects, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and market research to assess their viability and potential returns.
- Financial Modeling : Create and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate the financial performance and projections of renewable energy projects
- Risk Analysis : Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with renewable energy investments, including regulatory, environmental, and operational risks
- Market Research : Stay updated on industry trends, policy changes, and emerging technologies in the renewable energy sector to make informed investment decisions
- Support Investment Decision : Present findings and recommendations to the investment team, contribute to investment committee discussions, and assist in making well-informed investment decisions
- Project Management : Collaborate with project development teams to support the execution of investment projects, including managing timelines, budgets, and performance metrics
- Stakeholder Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, developers, government agencies, and other industry stakeholders
The Individual :
- Master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CFA, etc.) is a plus
- Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in renewable energy, infrastructure, or project finance
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
- Business proficiency in German & English
