Director of Engineering
Location : Hybrid, you should be comfortable working in office in Cologne at least once per week
Package : €175,000 - €200,000 + Stocks, Bonus, Benefits
Realta Associates has been engaged to find a Director of Engineering to own the people management of a German founded Silicon Valley ScaleUp / StartUp Tech company.
This role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of software projects and driving the company's technical vision and strategy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Ensure the successful delivery of complex software projects.
- Drive the technical vision and strategy of the company.
- Work closely with the CEO, CTO, and other executives to align engineering goals with business objectives.
- Collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 5+ years in a director role in engineering management.
- Strong technical background with experience in modern software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Technical expertise in Cloud and Kubernetes; developer backgrounds are a plus.
- Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into technical initiatives.
- Excellent collaboration skills across departments and with external stakeholders.
Technical Requirements :
- Expertise in Cloud and Kubernetes.
- Developer backgrounds are advantageous.
- Proven track record of delivering complex software projects.
