Pricing Actuary – 27446
Overview
Key duties (including, but not limited to) :
- As an actuary in the agile corporate customer actuarial department, you and your team will play a key role in shaping tariff landscape
- On the basis of state-of-the-art statistical modelling methods, you will derive concrete tariff and action recommendations for management, which are directly applied in sales
- With enthusiasm for state-of-the-art technologies, you work on open source tools and adapt them to your own ideas
- You will continuously develop the modelling and data infrastructure of property insurance in an interdisciplinary exchange
- As part of your activities, you actively assume responsibility and decision-making opportunities
- You will discuss your results together with different interfaces such as product management, controlling and risk management
- In addition, you will have the opportunity to actively shape the cultural development into an agile company
Qualifications required :
- Master’s degree or a doctorate in mathematics, statistics, business mathematics or similar
- You have an apprenticeship as an actuary DAV
Experience required :
- You have at least two years of professional experience as an actuary in property insurance
- You are not only mathematically fit, but also have an affinity for programming languages (e.g. Python, SQL, Git) and preparation of complex data as well as statistical modeling
