Position Summary :
The Research Director will oversee and lead strategic market research initiatives, ensuring seamless project delivery and providing actionable insights for clients.
This is a full-time, fully remote role focused on research within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
Core Responsibilities
Project Management & Research Design
- Lead bespoke market research projects from start to finish.
- Develop tailored research methodologies and materials to suit client needs.
- Analyse data and compile detailed reports to present insights to stakeholders.
Client Relationships & Business Growth
- Manage a portfolio of clients, addressing their business needs and offering solutions.
- Promote the company's services to both new and existing clients.
- Spearhead business development efforts, from cold lead generation through to delivering final reports.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate survey design, fieldwork, and data analysis.
- Work closely with the Operations team to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
Financial Responsibility
- Oversee project financials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
- Monitor financial outcomes and ensure all research projects meet financial objectives.
Key Skills & Experience
Research Expertise
- Strong experience in both quantitative and qualitative research.
- Demonstrable background in market research, particularly in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
Industry & Commercial Acumen
- Fluent in German, with in-depth knowledge of the German pharmaceutical market.
- Proven success in selling market research services, with an established commercial network in the pharmaceutical industry.
Client Engagement & Communication
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for managing long-term client relationships.
- The ability to understand client requirements and deliver targeted research solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively report complex data findings.
Financial Management
- Sound understanding of budgeting and managing research projects for profitability.
