Your responsibilities

We are looking for an investment analyst to join our Commercial Analysis & Market Intelligence team. Your responsibilities include :

• Be part of the centre of competence within Uniper Renewables for the financial modelling for internal project development, investment opportunity valuations but also for asset rotation and divestments
• Work with the development and technical teams to evaluate and assess various investment opportunities and prepare, present and communicate the results
• Coordinate the internal valuation process from problem definition and data gathering to results and communication
• Develop the financial modelling tools for Solar PV and Onshore Wind for various internal and external requirements ranging from development partnerships, greenfield origination to financial decisions
• Implement as well as continuously enhance best-practice discounted cashflow model structures
• Support in the strategy and business development process

Your profile

• University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or comparable studies
• Expertise in financial modelling and valuation topics and excellent skills in MS Office tools
• Understanding of the European Energy Markets, especially the renewables sector. Experience in energy industry is seen as a merit
• Understanding of the value drives behind Solar PV and Onshore Wind
• Good problem solving skills
• Fluent English, additional languages as a bonus
• Appreciation for cultural differences
