Experienced Golang Engineer (all genders)

Salary 65.000 - 70.000 EUR per year

Requirements :

• 4 up to 5 years of experience in software development
• Golang skills or the motivation to acquire them
• Proficiency in git, Docker and containers
• A high passion for software quality, including testing, code review and documentation
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm is an advantage
• Experience with GCP or any other Cloud Provider, Terraform, and CI / CD tools are highly desirable
• Experience in working with relational databases and non-relational data stores
• Comprehension of gRPC web service design, implementation, and maintenance are a strong plus

Responsibilities :

• Own the full lifecycle of specific features and product areas from design to release
• Program mostly in Go and Typescript within a group of experienced Developers committed to learning, sharing, and continual improvement to fulfill our goals
• Working with data on a high scale in a microservice and event-based architecture
• Participate in the design of software architecture and selection of technologies to the implementation of new services in collaboration with our Mobile and Quality Assurance Engineers
• Constant monitoring and improvement of our existing backend services with a high demand for a smooth implementation
• Possibility to attend at conferences and further education through online courses and trainings

We are looking for a knowledge-thirsty Golang Engineer (all genders) to support one of our international cross-functional product teams.

The team is passionate about working on our Go-based microservice backend. Working closely with the Mobile Engineers, you will add new functionalities, take care of the performance and stability of our backend while taking responsibility for our platform.

You will help deliver the best possible product experience to our users.

This is why our advertised positions are highly remote, but not 100% remote. You can live in Germany and work from home most of the time, but you will need to attend relevant company meetings and events as well as team meetings that your manager will arrange with you.
