Biobest Deutschland , subsidiary of Biobest, is a main supplier of biocontrol solutions for the horticultural industry in Germany.
The company has a local team of 5 sales & technical professionals, which will be evolving throughout the next coming years.
Today we are welcoming a Teamleader Biological Control to steer the German subsidiary.
Your mission
As Teamleader Biological Control Biobest Germany you have the overall responsibility for managing the company. As an affiliate of Biobest, you report to Biobest’s regional Sales Director and work closely with members of the Biobest management team in their respective areas of responsibility.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance market presence and increase sales.
- Lead and motivate your team into successfully reaching these goals.
- Commercialize our products (Beneficials, pollinators, biopesticides, etc.) within Germany territory, expanding into new crops and application fields.
- Collaborate with sales and supply chain teams to optimize distribution and logistics.
- Prepare annual P&L and budgets aligned with Biobest’s strategic objectives.
- Ensure timely availability of products through accurate market forecasting and intercompany purchases.
- Uphold company policies and compliance with UK laws across all operational aspects.
What do we expect from you
- You are passionate about sustainable agriculture. If you have a background in Agro-science, Bio-engineering or other relevant discipline, that would be a plus.
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on mentality.
- You have experience in leading and stimulating a team by coaching, delegating, and creating trust within the work environment.
- You demonstrate sound strategic thinking and the ability to identify, prioritize and resolve key project and partnership issues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, engage, focus, negotiate, and resolve.
- You have knowledge of accounting and some experience with ERP systems (SAP).
- You are fluent in English.
