We are looking for the Scientific Computing Center(SCC) from October 01 .2024 and limited for 3 years for aPostdoctoral Research Fellow (f / m / d) - Focus on : StatisticalPerspective on Bayesian Deep Learning - The Scientific ComputingCenter is the Information Technology Center of KIT.
The newlyestablished Research Group Methods for Big Data at the ScientificComputing Center welcomes applications for a postdoctoral researchfellow (f / m / d).
In this project you will : develop novel methodsthat leverage the potential of statistical learning and Bayesian(Deep) Learning investigate the theoretical properties of developedalgorithms implement the developed methods contribute to jointresearch inside the group publish the results at leading journals,workshops and conferences Job requirements : Excellent universitydegree (master) and completed PhD in statistics, mathe matics, datascience, statistics-oriented computer science Strong expertise intheoretical and computational aspects of Bayesian statisticsExpertise in at least one of the following areas : StatisticalLearning, Bayesian (Deep) Learning, Uncertainty Quantification andProbabilistic Machine Learning, High-Dimensional Statistics,Continual Learning Track record and excellent publications in atleast one of the main research areas above Strong computational,mathematical skills Solid programming skills in any scientificprogramming language, e.
g.
