System Administrator
TalenTailors is currently seeking a talented System Administrator to join our customer s team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our IT infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation and high availability.
Responsibilities :
System Maintenance and Monitoring : Keeping the system up to date and secure by performing regular updates, patches, and maintenance.
Proactively identifying and resolving any potential issues. Ensuring system integrity and implementing backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Server Management : Administering and maintaining servers, both physical and virtual, to ensure optimal performance and security.
Troubleshooting server problems and implementing necessary solutions.
User Support and Training : Providing technical support to end-users, assisting with software installation, configuration, and issue resolution.
Conducting training sessions to promote best practices for using company systems and tools.
Security and Compliance : Implementing and maintaining security protocols such as user access controls and firewall configurations.
Promptly monitoring and addressing security incidents and breaches. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Documentation and Reporting : Maintaining comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Generating regular reports on system performance and incidents for management review.
Collaboration and Project Support : Collaborating with IT team members on various projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and technology integrations.
Assisting in evaluating and recommending new technologies and solutions to enhance system performance.
Requirements
To excel in this position, the following qualifications are necessary :
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies.
- Preferred familiarity with cloud platforms.
- Experience with cybersecurity practices and tools.
KNOWLEDGE
- Advanced knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software (applications and programming).
- Excellent understanding of the English Language, including grammar, composition, and spelling.
- Proficiency in German Language (C1) including meaning, spelling, composition rules, and grammar.
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes, including needs assessment, quality standards, and customer satisfaction evaluation.
- Familiarity with the practical application of engineering science and technology, including principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment used in the design and production of various goods and services.
- Proficiency in Mathematics, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
