Expert Project Manager, Joint Ventures
Location : Germany
Our client has announced that in their Battery Valley they are starting their own battery cell production and the ramp up of their worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing.
The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation.
Responsibilities :
- Project management of cooperations / partnerships incl. interface management and presentation results to decision board
- Monitoring or conduction analysis on Joint Ventures (JVs), preparation of materials for internal approvals, managing review, assessment and alignment process (internally and with partner(s))
- Coordination and management of information requests and exchanges between client, JVs and other Shareholders, arrangement necessary incl. decision-making meetings
- Coordination with other departments for information providing
- Implementation of vertical integration strategy
- Tracking of achievement of the planed milestones
- Proactively identify opportunities for performance improvement or synergy capture, develop associated planning, negotiate with the JVs / partner(s) to adopt
- Develop and update risk assessments
- Negotiation after the closing of the JV-Agreement
Qualifications :
- Completed technical / university degree in the technical / commercial field
- Project management experience / Procurement
- High level of assertiveness, excellent communication skills and strong negotiating skills
- Advanced knowledge of the MS Office system (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Business fluent knowledge of English
- Experience in cooperations or M&A
- Experience in active cathode materials area
