I'm seeking an experienced Information Security Officer to join our team in Nuremberg. This full-time role involves working three days a week in our Nuremberg office, with flexibility for remote work on other days.
Working closely with the CISO, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security in regulated industries, with a preference for experience in banking or insurance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create, review, and update comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Serve as a key component of the organization’s second line of defense, providing oversight and advisory support to ensure effective risk management and compliance.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the organization’s information security program, including risk assessments, incident response, and security awareness training.
- Ensure that the organization meets all regulatory requirements related to information security, including conducting audits and assessments.
- Work closely with other departments, including IT, Risk Management, and Legal, to align security initiatives with business goals.
- Develop and implement incident response plans, coordinating with relevant teams to manage and resolve security incidents.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as an Information Security Officer or in a similar role, preferably within banking, insurance, or another regulated industry.
- Experience in writing and implementing security policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
